  Why Quit Smoking? Logo
When I was young, I kissed my first woman, and smoked my first cigarette on the same day. Believe me, never since have I wasted any more time on tobacco.
       Arturo Toscanini

Most people who smoke want to quit. Those who want to and haven't probably either haven't tried or haven't been successful when they have tried. Anyone can quit--if they want to. The maxim "If at first you don't succeed, try, try, again" certainly applies to smoking cessation. The more times a smoker tries to quit, the better his/her chances of shaking the habit get. The purpose of this page is to lend support and guidance to those wanting to quit. If I can do it, anyone can, so if you need my help, feel free to email me if you wish. Now, some reasons WHY you should quit smoking.

  No Smoking Icon Your family
Your family needs your financial and emotional support. If you die prematurely from a smoking-related illness, who will do all the things you do for your family?

  No Smoking Icon Your kids
Kids exposed to secondhand smoke at home are more prone to colds, ear infections and allergies than children of non-smoking parents. Worse still, they will likely become smokers themselves.

  No Smoking Icon Yourself
It's never too late to quit smoking. Right away, you'll look better (no more yellow teeth and fingers), feel better (goodbye hacking cough, hello vitality) and enjoy life better (flowers smell sweeter, food tastes better).

You know why you want to quit. Now choose a date and put a big red circle on the calendar. Everynight before going to bed, review the reasons you want to quit.
