Welcome to this "state of mine." In case you haven't guessed, my state is Virginia. On these pages, you'll be introduced to the entire state, from her beaches to her mountains, from her metropolitan areas to her rural (and even undeveloped) areas. You'll get to know Virginia today, and a bit about her past. Virginia is a state with diverse interests and attractions. Come along on this virtual tour, a tour where you'll see not only where America was born, but where she won her freedom. Hopefully, this glimpse of "The Old Dominion" will pique your interest enough to make Virginia one of your future travel destinations.
